It is a tradition in our house to put the Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving day. I just figure if I didn't do it then on my mandatory day off then it wouldn't get done. : ) So after a long day of cleaning, cooking and eating I climbed up to the attic and pulled done my many tubs of Christmas junk which seems there are always more tubs from year to year. Right?
My daughter, Annabella, who is now 2.5 years old, was actually more helpful then she has ever been thus far. This is such a cool age as she knows now the word "Christmas"! But everything that has to do with Christmas is just that "Christmas!" she hasn't fulled grasped the lights, wreaths, ornaments, etc.... it's just "Christmas" but so sweet. I do tell her and then she pronounces it just right. Every year is a precious one and I love her to pieces . I just hope she is eager to sit on Santa's lap... she hasn't been yet. lol
