It is always an adventure....
I am always excited and probably more so then my daughter ever is. But at the same time I am anxious to get it over with. Just the rush to get there before the store opens so you'll be the first one in line in hopes to by pass the agony of standing in line for 2 hours for a 2 minute visit with the old man. All the meanwhile your child does not want sit still nor wait, may or may not need a snack, drink or go to the bathroom.... oh my!
So this year we only had to wait 45 minutes at The Mall at Millenia, (whooaa). Annabella didn't stand still and wanted to push the strollers of strangers, she needed both a drink and a snack and luckily we didn't have to make a made dash for the potty. At 2 1/2 years old she only knew the jolly old guys name but still didn't want to sit on his lap or dare talk to him. Santa's elf's did a great job cropping mommy out of the picture while they attempted every last trick in the book to get her to smile. She is a tough one.
Still they manged to capture some great images that this mommy will treasure and it all ended with smiles and not tears. Yeah! I can't wait to do it all again next year. lol
