This was a extra special session for a super family. I was contacted through a new organization I joined all OpLove to capture Heather and her two boys while they visited there Grandparents for the summer. Meanwhile Son/Hubby/Daddy/ is a soldier deployed .... a difficult reality for a lot of military families. As a military brat I know what it feels like to not have your dad around for long periods of time. Also, as a member of the Armed services both Navy and Army National Guard I know what it is to be deployed from your loved ones for long periods of time. So when I stumbled across this organization that makes it possible to offer complimentary sessions to our Nations hero's and their families while they are deployed I immediately joined. It was a way for me to thank service members for there selfless service.
I wasn't sure I'd have any luck capturing a family because I am such a long ways from the nearest military base but when I got the call I was so excited. Heather contacted me from California and has been able to keep it a secret from her hubby. I can't wait to hear the reaction. Thanks so much for letting me document the memories. Here are a few favs.
