Design on a Dime!

My sister is the not only a fashion diva but also has the eye to design. Here are images from her home that she designed on a little to nothing budget. Does she have mad skills or what? I'd love for her to bring her talent to Florida because both my home and wardrobe could use a make over. lol!

Fancy Flooring

Not my usual assignment but one that was a welcoming challenge when I was asked if I could do the job. Because I was photographing the floor the job didn't even start until midnight. But check out how cool this floor is and all the detail getting something so unique just right. Job well done... here is a mini sample of their product.

Cover Photo

A couple of months back I had the opportunity to photograph two exceptional women, Gail Warrior-Lawrence (left) and Dr. Faye E. Coleman, at the Grand Floridian Disney Resort for the cover of Women's Enterprising. At last the story, Accelerating the Growth of Businesses Owned by Women of Color, has been writen and the magizine is out.

Enterprising Women

I had the awesome opportunity to photograph two beautiful ladies for an upcoming issue of Enterprising Women Magazine. Not only was this my first visit to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa where the women's entrepreneur organization was holding their Annual Award Celebration ... this was also the my first shoot for a national magazine cover. I was so excite...as soon as the issue hits the stands I'll be sure to officially announce my excitement.

Thanks again to another dear friend, Deanna, who got me there when my GPS took me to the wrong gate and for also referring me for the job.

David's Personality

I had the pleasure of meeting David Benzel, http://www.davidbenzel.com/, who was looking to update his professional headshot as well as capture a few personality images to use for his website and upcoming book. David and his wife welcomed me into thier home for a fun session and truly made my job easy as he was a natural in front of the camera. I captured him in action as he talked about what he does best: Coaching Leadership Skills.

Also, a big thanks to my friend, Carissa, who was wonderful to refer me and did a fabulous job assisting.

Stephenson's Home

I had some fun photographing the Stephenson's Home....something I don't get to do to often so I welcomed the change of pace with open arms. They had recently finished some improvements to their landscape and are putting the gorgeous 3000 sq foot home up for sale so they called on me to capture their home sweet home. And boy did they ever work hard... it was awesome. Here are a few favorite images as well as some odds and ends and one of their horses.
